Madrid, Oct. 27, 2026 – Recycled cotton producer Recover has launched its first global brand campaign, “REAL. Today, Not Someday.”, urging the textile and fashion industries to give more attention to sustainability solutions that already work.
The company says the sustainability debate has become tilted toward future recycling technologies, while proven options get too little visibility. It argues that this leaves industry caught between greenwashing and “greenhushing.”
Recover says its recycled cotton went into more than 200 million garments in 2025, backed by traceability systems and verified impact data.
“Recycled cotton is already proven, already scaled and already being used in hundreds of millions of garments,” said Boris Mercier, the company’s chief marketing officer.
The campaign rests on eight pillars: recycled cotton from verified textile waste, impact backed by third-party life cycle assessments, industrial scalability, commercial accessibility, consistent quality, natural fiber retention through mechanical recycling, triple traceability (GRS certification plus physical and digital tracers) and responsible business practices.
REAL debuted this month at industry conferences in Vancouver, Munich and Amsterdam. Through Q4 2026 it will run across trade print advertising, social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), paid media on LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube, and location-based Uber ads around major industry events.
Recover is backed by STORY3 Capital and Goldman Sachs. The campaign follows its October launch of Recover™One, a 100% recycled fiber blend range, and the September appointment of Enes Adak and Fehmi Yüksel as co-CEOs.
