MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 27, 2026 – Target has reinvented Threshold, its largest owned Home brand, adding more than 800 new items across stores and online. The nearly $3 billion brand’s overhaul is part of a multi-year effort to strengthen Target’s style authority in home.

Textile focus. Bedding is a central part of the refresh, with fabrics such as gauze and textured cotton, alongside new colors and prints. Throws, decorative pillows and tabletop items also get updates, and Target says barware, serveware and decorative accessories now carry elevated finishes.

Pricing. Following price cuts announced in September, Threshold Performance Sheets are now $50 for queen and $60 for king. Select queen comforters are $69, down from $89.

Merchandising. Pillows, throws and tabletop decor are now displayed together by category to help shoppers coordinate colors, patterns and textures. Select stores also get new wood fixtures. Target’s research indicates guests mix three or more design aesthetics at home, and the range spans traditional to contemporary styles.

Early results. Reinvented products already on shelves, including throws, decorative accessories and candles, are posting double-digit growth. In-store tests of updated product presentations showed mid-single-digit lifts in sales and units.

“Homes are an extension of our guests’ personalities and sense of style,” said Mara Sirhal, senior vice president of merchandising, home, Target. She added that guests are responding to the range of styles, elevated design and value.

Target says it will keep evolving Threshold with new styles and designs. The retailer operates more than 2,000 U.S. stores.
