Premium performance running footwear ($100+) drove double-digit gains in the U.S. Three Brooks franchises, Adrenaline GTS, Ghost and Glycerin, ranked among the top six nationally at U.S. retail. At specialty retail, Brooks held five of the top seven styles and the No. 1 position in Q3. It also took No. 1 in German adult performance running footwear with the market’s top two styles. In a global runner survey, Brooks ranked first for both training and race-day footwear for the third straight year, and 87% of respondents expect to maintain or increase event participation.

Brooks athlete Josh Kerr broke the 27-year-old mile world record at the London Diamond League in July, running 3:42.66. He had publicly declared the goal, called Project 222, four months earlier. Brooks built custom Hyperion Elite race-day product for the attempt and says the project will inform future development. Kerr later won 1500m gold at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest.
